Privacy Policy

MezzoMedi is a Mediterranean flavor-pairing and cooking app published by ShadowTune (Frédéric Valente), based in France ("we", "us"). In short: the app works offline, has no accounts, and nothing personal ever leaves your device.

What the app uses

Content. Ingredients, flavor profiles, pairings, dishes and photos ship inside the app. It does not download or send any content while you use it.

Your local data. Your pantry, favorites and settings (for example Healthy mode or showing bold pairings), plus the install date (used for the 7-day free trial), are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

Purchases. Unlocking the full app is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details; Google processes them under the Google Privacy Policy. The app only learns whether the unlock has been purchased.

Review prompt. The app may show Google Play's rating dialog (In-App Review API). Google handles its display and any rating you give; we have no access to it.

Android permissions

MezzoMedi requests no sensitive permissions: no location, camera, microphone, contacts or photos. The Google libraries used for purchases, reviews and the widget declare standard technical permissions (network access to talk to Google Play, Google Play billing, background work to refresh the widget). The app itself sends no personal data.

What we don't collect

  • Your name, email address or contact details.
  • Your location.
  • Your contacts, photos, calendar or other device data.
  • Advertising or tracking identifiers.

The app contains no ads and no analytics or tracking tools. We don't sell or share any data.

The mezzomedi.com website

The website uses no cookies and shows no ads. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data (IP address, browser) for as long as needed to deliver pages and keep them secure. We use no audience-measurement tools.

Children

MezzoMedi is suitable for all ages. Since no personal information is collected, none is collected from children.

Your rights

We hold no personal data about you through the app. For any GDPR question, contact us; you may also contact the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr).

Changes

If we update this policy, we will change the date above and may announce significant changes in the app.
